Happy 10th birthday OMET Americas!

OMET Americas, Inc. is the US subsidiary of OMET Italy, worldwide leader in the manufacturing of high-productivity tissue converting lines for interfolded and non-interfolded napkins, towels, facial tissues and bath tissues; and labels and packaging printing presses.

Established in March 2011, OMET Americas Inc. has recently celebrated its 10th birthday.

OMET Americas, Inc. is based in Mount Prospect, IL. It’s recent move to this new modern location better reflects the growth and commitment of the company in the US market.

Since its opening in 2011, the organization of OMET Americas has been constantly growing, in particular its local sales and service support team. Their North American clients can rely on a local skilled team of service technicians and parts specialists. Also, North American clients can count on a complete local stock of spare parts. From their warehouses – conveniently located in close proximity to Chicago O’Hare airport- Omet Americas can ship parts for same day and over-night delivery to their US and Canadian clients.

This turned out to be a key winning strategy for OMET. Sales in North America has been growing constantly every year and are projected to increase in 2021. There are more than 150 installations throughout North America and the number of new installations is growing every year. “This is a big accomplishment for us. OMET is a unique and complete solution provider with a wide range of converting machines for tissue napkins, tissue towels, facial tissue, bath tissues, capable of offering a complete converting line: unwinder, calendar, printer, embosser, folding unit, cutting unit, wrapper and cartoner. “Innovation and technology have always been a priority for OMET – added Francesco Ponziani – and we keep investing in new solutions for our customers. ASV line, for example, is a recent new complete line we developed for interfolded tissue towels, facial tissue and bath tissue, available with different kinds of lamination and embossing solutions, with a speed of up to 1.000 feet per minute in production. Productivity is also a key aspect for us, our machines are the most productive in the industry and our new XV Line, with a productivity of 25.000 napkins a minute, is probably the most productive napkin machine ever built. Another great innovation we are working on is the new WIN Line, an interfolded line for quarter-folded products”.
