No-Stop Unwinder

One of the most important and delicate operations of tissue converting machines is the reel changeover. In fact, the efficiency of the machine depends on the ability to limit time waste as much as possible. To tackle this issue, OMET has patented a special continuous unwinder that eliminates machine stops. This reduces waste caused by slowing down the machine to change the roll manually and then ramping back up to production speed. The no-stop unwinder guarantees superior productivity by 10-15% compared to the manual change with a general increase of the efficiency of the line.
